Disclosure: we build Prospectio, a competing product.
What it is
A cloud-based LinkedIn and email outreach tool built around “smart sequences”, meaning campaign flows that branch on prospect behaviour: accepted, replied, viewed, opened.
What it does well
Conditional sequences. The branching builder is good and the reason most people choose this category of tool over something simpler.
Email discovery included. Finding and verifying a prospect’s email inside the sequence, without a separate data subscription, removes an integration and an invoice at moderate volume.
Image and GIF personalisation. The same capability Expandi popularised. Still occasionally effective in niches where prospects see little outbound.
Unlimited seats on some plans. Worth checking against your team size, because it changes the maths versus per-seat competitors.
Where it is ordinary
Personalisation depth. Merge fields, images, optional AI text. No step that reads a prospect and decides whether to message them.
No reply automation. Replies land in the inbox and wait.
Differentiation. The honest problem: it is hard to articulate why Skylead rather than Expandi, or vice versa. That is a comment on the category rather than the product.
Who should buy it
Teams who like the Expandi model and want to compare pricing and support before committing. Teams who value bundled email discovery. Agencies checking seat economics across vendors.
Who shouldn’t
Anyone whose problem is reply rate rather than sequence logic. At that point the question is not which conditional builder you prefer, it is whether text is still working at all, and across 389,890 prospects and 15 controlled tests our answer is that it stopped working a while ago.
The verdict
Solid, unremarkable in the best sense, worth a demo alongside Expandi. Pick on price, interface and how quickly support answers.
