What the data says about this band

Between 50 and 200 people is where a company starts having functional owners without yet having procurement, legal review and a vendor management process. 35.2 percent replied and 5.3 percent booked, both comfortably above the dataset averages, with a €14,800 average deal.

This was the band for the video test, and the result is one of the most useful in the dataset. Across 8,385 prospects targeting IT directors and CTOs, a personalised video first touch replied at 40.4 percent against 28.8 percent for text-only, and produced 57 percent more meetings. It held across all three accounts and did not decay over eleven weeks, which is unusual for a format effect.

The reason video works particularly well at this size is the same reason the whole band performs: the person watching can act on it without convening anyone. There is a decision maker, they are reachable, and there is no process standing between them and a first meeting.

Method

Figures come from 34,300 prospects in this band inside a dataset of 389,890 prospects and 15,018 meetings, run for 17 clients across 41 programmes between 2018 and 2026. Prospects were split at random inside each client account so industry, geography, seniority and company size are held constant on both sides of every controlled test, and no test was called below 2,000 prospects per arm.
