HeyReach review: the best tool in the category for agencies

If you run LinkedIn outreach across many accounts for many clients, HeyReach is probably the right answer. If you run one account and want more replies from it, it isn't.

Paul CassidyBy Paul Cassidy, founder of Prospectio.ai. Ex Google, Salesforce and Twilio sales leader. Updated 4 September 2026.
In short: HeyReach is built for scale across LinkedIn accounts, and it's the best tool in the category at that specific job. Per-account pricing, one inbox for everything, serious integrations, API and MCP. It doesn't qualify prospects or send voice and video, so per-message performance is ordinary. Agencies should shortlist it first.

Disclosure: we build Prospectio, which competes with HeyReach in some deals and not others. This one is easy to be fair about because the two products are aimed at different problems.

What HeyReach is

A LinkedIn outreach platform designed around running many sender accounts at once. Connect twenty, fifty, a hundred LinkedIn profiles, rotate campaigns across them, and manage every conversation from a single inbox. Pricing follows the model: you pay per LinkedIn account, not per human user.

What it does exceptionally well

Multi-account scale. This is the whole point and nothing else in the category matches it. Sender rotation, per-client separation, campaign assignment across accounts, and one place to see all of it.

The unified inbox. Managing replies across forty LinkedIn accounts is a genuine operational problem, and HeyReach solved it properly. For an agency this alone can justify the switch.

Integrations. Clay, Make, n8n, Zapier, HubSpot, plus a public API, a CLI and an MCP server. If you’re building a modern GTM stack where enrichment, scoring and sending are separate systems wired together, HeyReach is the LinkedIn layer that plays nicely.

Reporting per client. Exportable, clean, ready for a monthly review with a client who wants numbers.

Content and community. Their playbooks, templates and partner programme are useful, which also happens to be a very effective marketing strategy.

Where it’s ordinary

Per-message performance. HeyReach sends what you tell it to send. Personalisation is tokens plus optional AI-written text. There’s no step that reads a prospect’s profile and decides whether to message them at all, and no voice or video. So the reply rate you get is the reply rate the message deserves. In our own testing a text-only first touch replied at 28.8 percent against 40.4 percent for a personalised video.

Reply handling. It detects positive replies, which is useful. It doesn’t run the conversation to a booked meeting.

Cost for small teams. Per-account pricing is a bargain at forty accounts and unremarkable at two.

Who should buy HeyReach

  • Lead-gen agencies with more than about five client accounts.
  • In-house teams running LinkedIn across a large sales org.
  • Anyone building an automated GTM stack who needs the LinkedIn layer to have a proper API.

Who shouldn’t

  • Solo founders and small teams. You’ll pay for scale you don’t use.
  • Anyone whose problem is that their messages don’t get replies.

The verdict

Best in class at its job. We tell agencies to look at it, and we say the same in our own comparison page. The question to answer before choosing is whether your constraint is accounts or replies.

Frequently asked questions

Is HeyReach good for a single user?

It works, but you're paying for an architecture built around running many accounts. A solo user or small team gets less from it than an agency does.

What makes HeyReach different from Expandi or Dripify?

Pricing per LinkedIn account rather than per user, a unified inbox spanning every connected account, and much deeper integration with the modern GTM stack: Clay, Make, n8n, a public API and an MCP server.

Does HeyReach do AI personalisation?

It has AI-assisted text generation and reply detection. It doesn't qualify prospects against an ICP before sending, and it doesn't send voice or video.
